Arthur Davis (November 20, 1902 - October 30, 1993) graduated from Central Normal College in Danville, Indiana in 1934. According to 'Find a Grave', he taught at Avon High School as a social studies and health teacher. He also coached basketball for 18 years (1930 - 1948) and was the first driver's education teacher in Hendricks County. He was a member of Phi Delta Kappa social fraternity Danville, Indiana. Arthur married Gertie Bowden on December 22, 1930 and she preceded him in death in 1978. Arthur and Gertie had one son, Stephen Davis. Arthur "Feeney" Davis died at Eagle Valley Healthcare in Indianapolis. He was born in Danville, Indiana to Orlando and Sarah (Fulps) Davis. He is buried at the Danville South Cemetery in Danville, Indiana.
