Meet the Children Services Staff!
My name is Penny and I am the Children's Department Manager. Stop by the Children's Reference desk and say hi!
 My name is Jenny but the children call me Miss Jenny. I am the person who organizes Preschool Storytime. Preschool Storytime is for children ages 3 ½ through kindergarten We will have stories, songs, rhymes, and crafts. Usually, you can find me at children’s coming up with different crafts, planning programs, or helping others with book recommendations. Stop by the children’s department to say hi! I look forward to meeting you.
photo coming soon My name is Corlan and I work part-time in the Children's Department. I design all the program calendars and make sure everything is ready for program registration. I help prepare crafts for storytime too. Although I don't do any programming on my own, I do help out when needed. I can also be found at the Children's Reference Desk, so if you need help finding a book, don't hesitate to ask!
My name is Johanna, but the children call me Miss Jo. I am the person who organizes storytimes for Bouncy Babies, the Laptime group, and the Toddler's group. Those storytimes are for children ranging in age from 18 months to 3 ½ years old. We like to read books, sing songs, and do fingerplays together. When I'm not working on planning future programs at my desk, I'm often helping patrons at the main desk in the Children's Department or in Adult Reference.  My name is John and I am the Teen Librarian. I have a passion about public libraries and working with young people. As the Teen Librarian, I hope to use my experiences and skills to create innovative programs for teens that help promote a love of lifelong learning and community involvement. I am eager to help!
